Ok, I tried the ip address of the machine where I
installed Midgard like this:
http://XXX.XX.XXX.XX/aegir and
http://XXX.XX.XXX.XX/midgard, still gives a 404 not
found.

I still do not understand where the actual application
is installed? Should there not be some files somewhere
on my system where the actual midgardcms application
resides.  I am new to php development.  I am a java
programmer and used to the .war file packaging of an
web application (servlets and jsps).
