Upgrading from midcom-db to midcom-fs

Hi!

I've been trying to upgrade from midcom-db to the latest midcom-fs for a 
while, but so far no luck. I installed MidCOM 2.4 as described in the INSTALL 
file. There are no errors or anything. 

When I access /midcom-admin on an existing web site, it still shows the old 
version. When I move the snippetdirs like the install file says I should, I 
get an error like that on every page:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object 
in /var/cache/midgard/69-236-31-0.php on line 315

When I try to create a new web site, it still uses the old version. I also 
looked at the midcom snippet in the midcom directory (somone suggested doing 
that in another thread), and it seems to point to the db snippets. I can't 
change it though, because I have no idea how it should really look.

Is there a (foolproof) guide to upgrading exiting web sites to midcom-fs or is 
it working for everybody except for me? What can I do to complete the 
upgrade?
