Greetings! I tried today using Photon (iPhoto weblog export add-on) with Midgard CMS (www.midgard-project.org). It basically works with Midgard's blogging module, though for some reason the RSD autodiscovery doesn't work so you need to: * Input the MetaWeblog API handler URL manually * Category retrieval failed on a default blog setup in Midgard (there are no categories by default) * Give some blog ID (Midgard doesn't use these, each blog has unique MetaWeblog API URL) * Identify the system as Movable Type or Wordpress After this posting photos to the blogging module (de.linkm.newsticker) generally works. However, I haven't yet looked at tuning the settings for optimal Midgard compatibility. Anyway, what would be even more interesting would be adding Photon support into Midgard's gallery module (net.siriux.photos). However, for that we need to extract the original image, so that gallery can do the thumbnail and other processing by itself. To do this we need to figure out some default setup for Photon that would work well. If Midgard would be added to Photon's list of supported blog systems, would there be possibility of having a custom field mapping done automatically? Here is how the posted images looked on a MidCOM testing site: http://cvs.devel.midcom-project.org/midcom-template/ Thanks for making this great tool freely available!
