With your suggestions I get a little further:

Last login: Thu Sep 1 23:29:06 on console
Welcome to Darwin!
menno-tillemas-imac-g5:~ menno$ sudo cd /sw ; sudo /sw/bin/
mysqld_safe &
Password:
[1] 224
menno-tillemas-imac-g5:~ menno$ Starting mysqld daemon with databases
from /sw/var/mysql

menno-tillemas-imac-g5:~ menno$ sudo /sw/sbin/apachectl restart

httpd not running, trying to start

Is this what should happen? I can connect to my webserver Apche, but
the page on aegir gives a 404.

On http://10.0.1.3/~menno/ I get a "template" page and directions
where to put my personal webpages. Pages on 127.0.0.1/Aegir and
127.0.0.1/Midgar or 10.0.1.3/~menno/aegis or /midgar don't exist.

Kind regards,
