Hi Nick,

I'm not sure what that value is used for. It's in the position whose
function is labeled "scrollable menu". I've never used that position myself.
Like I said before though, I've asked Andy about the alignment issue you've
described because I've had the same issue. Given the variable flag name he
is using on his new menu (overflow), I'm reasonably certain he has a flag in
the version 3 menu that goes off when the menu will extend below the bottom
of the screen and at that point his processing is to adjust the alignment
upward in an attempt to display the entire submenu on the screen. I don't
believe you can override it.

The good news is that with the new V5 menu, the alignment stays consistent.
If you want your submenu to align directly with the previous menu item
selection, as I do, then the overflow flag still gets set when the submenu
will extend below the bottom of the screen, however, with the new menu, you
can cause a scroll bar to appear and it works very nicely. Very clean.

You really should consider moving over to using CSS and DIV's instead of
using frames. They just aren't worth the hassle. (And I'm a frames fan!)

Regards,

Brett

What is the -500 number for? What does that do. I put a number there and
it makes the submenus line up the first time you go to it but then the next
time it goes all the way back up to the top. I'm attaching my code and
maybe you can see whats wrong. Please let me know asap. I'm using version

    Nick...

The V5 menu does not support frames yet. I have the same predicament but
I'm opting to move my application to a non-frames implementation so that I
can use the scroll bar for the long menu items.

  Brett

Are you going to have a Frames sample for version 5? I would really

like to have that one. I have 3 right now and I'm having problems

when I have a lot of submenu items. They get cut off at the top of

the frame after like 10 items. You added the scroll bar function in 5

which helps that problem so please let me know ASAP. Thanks
