Needed: source for php_ming.so that compiles

I've been trying unsuccessfully for the past few days to coerce my 
web-hosting provider's IT staff to install Ming on their server for me. 
  They weren't able to get the source to compile.  I wasn't able to get 
the source to compile.  I located a pre-compiled php_ming.so binary 
which *does* work on my local Linux box but does not work on their 
server.  (Yes, I actually got them to drop it into their PHP extensions 
directory for me and to add it to their php.ini file - all in vain.)

If we could just get source that compiles for this one shared object 
file our troubles would be solved.  But where to find it?

P.S. I just received an announcement from Codeweavers saying their most 
recent upgrade, Codeweavers Wine v2.1, now enables both Dreamweaver MX 
and Flash MX from Macromedia to run under Linux!  Yippee! :)
