Author: chris Email: Message: Hello Mr. Barkov, after reading my post in the bug tracker, I think the title is wrong. I'd like to clarify this a bit. It is about parsing the http header before downloading the rest. We gain at least tree new features: * We can still cancel downloading if we don't have a parser for the mime-type (we don't need any further config options) * We can hard limit the maximum file size beside of the MaxDocSize option because at least pdftotext doesn't like trunkated files * I noticed strange behaviour of some zope installations which delivers a proper Last-Modified header but ignores the If-modified-since in the http request and answers with 200+data instead of 304. chris -- I talked to the zope guys and they said filesuffixes are retro.
