I wouldn't just say "too easy" but also "too simple" in the Occam's Razor sense. Simple is difficult to comprehend. Unfortunately ease and simplicity is often equated with "not powerful" when IMHO the opposite is often true. In the case of mod_pubsub this is especially true given the hegemonic is procedural and monolithic and with a tendancy towards performance; a mindset that is prevalent in my own perspective and is difficult to adjust after many years of practise. While I think I grok mod_pubsub, the big question for me is: what principles, constraints and architecture do I use to design applications that leaverage the precepts of mod_pubsub? More importantly what problem domains, therefore applications, benefit? $.02 Robert > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of > Adam Rifkin > Sent: Friday, 26 September 2003 4:55 a.m. > To: Asynch Messaging; [email protected] > Subject: RE: [Mod-pubsub-developer] FW: [pushlet] Digest Number 246 > > > Wow, that's a first.
