pubsublib.py is stubbed out for a lot of features we were one day going to get to, but it was the goal in starting that library to make it a reference implementation for other client libraries. Please do ask questions about it when/if you have questions. And thanks to everyone who's currently tackling some new aspect of this project. We had all been kind of quiet recently, but the new activity sounds very exciting to me.
