I'm sure it's running on port 8000. Here's an active subscribe.py session from another console:

The 'XXXXXXXXXX' messages are from publications from publish.py; the 'Hello' messages are from publications
from the LibKN\Samples\vb\PubSub app.

The pubsub.py startup command that I used is this:
python pubsub.py 8000 ..
