Mike, of course you're right. The apps are the only thing that make the difference between good infrastructure and useless infrastructure. I just find, so far, that all my time goes into updating the infrastructure because the apps we try to write reveal places to patch the infrastructure. Slowly but surely as the infrastructure gets more solid I'll be able to shift my time toward the apps. Though as Joyce would tell you, it's probably better if *other* people write the apps. I have no taste. What you forwarded below is an *excellent* example. You're on the ball.
