Minutes from the PubSub User Group meeting last week.

I didn't take many notes but here's what I can cobble together
from the incomprehensible scribbles on my napkin...

MikeD is right -- we should continue looking for killerapps.
PeopleOnPage is one cool app.  Secure chat could be another.

mod-pubsub.org will buy a brand new machine used exclusively
for it.  We'll move its host so it has a static IP address.
[Update: The box was bought today, time to install Debian on
it and then customize it, after which we'll switch the IP over.]

http://www.mod-pubsub.org/blog/ keeps getting better and better.
Adding Rohit to the authors list.  [Update: yesterday was his 
first post.]  Joyce will upload the excellent paper on Semi
Permeable Blogs, after which we'll do some word-of-mouth PR
for the mod_pubsub blog.

Once the logo has stabilized (after adding lightning bolts, perhaps)
we would like to make tee shirts.  Which is, as everyone knows,
the most important part of any project.  Perhaps we'll make a
store at http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/ -- though I note that
their tee shirts are flimsy and unavailable in black.  Everyone
knows that black is the best tee shirt color.

I haven't played with ZODB yet (for pubsub server persistence).
It's still on my "to do" list.

Number one work item is splitting apart the presence library
from mod_pubsub/kn_apps/presence1 so we'll have embeddable
presence.  This might make a nice left pane on the blog.

The Hep Server looks really interesting in conjunction with
mod_pubsub.  Still thinking hard about the combination.  See:
