For those folks keeping their checkouts up-to-date, do a top-level cvs update to get the latest Python PubSub Server changes.
First is Joyce modified the server to force events to have default kn_expires of 60 seconds when not specified by the app developer. Thanks Joyce!
Second is we modified the server to cache the results of five do_methods (blank, lib, libform, lib2form, and whoami).
This might fix the "space pigeons" bug -- Robert, empty your cache and we'll see if the patch to pubsub.py we just checked helps when you access Cafe PubSub

By the way, these changes make pubsub.py feel faster. The reason is, every time you publish, it uses do_method blank to draw the form that it fills out to send a request to the PubSub Server. Now that blank is cached, it's one less round trip per publish.
(I also made some edits to some kn_docs/ and kn_apps/presence1/ for folks updating at home.)
Adam
P.S. -- Congrats to everyone, we're about to pass 8000 pageviews on the http://mod-pubsub.sf.net/ ... thanks to Scott & Matt's blogchatter buzz ...
