RE: Logging package

Ok, I've checked the logging package into CVS.

I wrote a little test that uses it and it appears to
work with Python 1.5+ on Linux.  (And if it runs on
Linux, it runs on everything, right? :)

Ok, so now I have to figure out how to port the
pubsub.py logging code to the new logger, both for
the normal log and the error log...

Well, we could just bundle it with the mod_pubsub package.
We do that with other Python libraries that aren't necessarily
part of the standard Python distribution...

Unless it counts on features of the Python 2.3 language.
But on first glance, that doesn't appear to be the case.
Am I wrong?
