[Mtamazon] What am I missing?

I hate to pose such a silly question, but here goes...

Movable Type 3.16, on DreamHost webhosting. Textile installed and 
working, Smarty Pants installed and working.

MT Amazon, not working. "<MTAmazon></MTAmazon>" not processed, except 
to put it inside <p></p> tags.

I pasted code from MTAmazon on my old server, to the site. That works 
fine.

I'm sure the problem is with the "nut behind the wheel," (in car repair 
terms), but I'm stymied.

Help!
