[Mtamazon] Weird stray characters showing up

I have a rather peculiar problem and i have searched for a solution=20
throughout the archives.
When I use this code on my site:

<MTAmazon method=3D"Asin" search=3D"B000001EIC" lastn=3D"1">
     <p><a href=3D"<MTAmazonLink>" target=3D"blank">
     <img src=3D"<MTAmazonMediumImage>" align=3D"left" border=3D"0">
     </a><br>
</MTAmazon>

Everything works fine except this symbol " =C2=A0"  appears three times =
on=20
my webpage.
twice right  under the blog title, and one time at the bottom left hand=20=

corner of the screen.

When I remove <MTAmazonLink> but leave the rest intact...the symbols=20
are still there...the same goes for jst removing <MTAmazonMediumImage>.=20=

But if I remove both the weird symbols go away.

Does anyone have any idea how or why this is happening?
These are not even near where the code is being used...
I have checked and rechecked this many times. When i remove those=20
strings, the symbols disappear (but of course the code doesn't work).=20
Removing one of the strings does nothing...but when they are both gone=20=

the symbols disappear.

The two at the top can be easily seen  right underneath "NYC LOST" Any=20=

help is appreciated...
The code is being used to display the "Serge Gainsbourg" album in the=20
right column
