Well are you a genius with HTML? I have problems when I post my entries and
don't see a way out of it.

I'm always afraid that my entries are wrong, somehow wrong. For example, I
never close my <br> with a < br/> and don't ever know if it shows right.
What do you see?

I don't see the symbol  and don't know how it shows on your machine--it
doesn't show on mine. Please let me know....

I'm guessing that this is an encoding problem. The text encoding you're
using with MT doesn't match what is coming from Amazon. That's not
surprising because the encoding from Amazon is a mystery. They don't declare
it and it seems to change depending upon what the content that's returned.

In the HTML code of your site, you have...

<table border="0" align="right" width="200">
<tr>
  <td align="right"><a href="http://news.kubricksrube.com"'>News</a>

The  shows up in the HTML. What is the character that is there in your
code? Perhaps it's some sort of non-space whitespace character that's being
converted to something strange when MT tries to resolve the encoding. Try
removing all the white space from your templates in that location.
