------_=_NextPart_001_01C2DE8C.CBB28FE0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Hi , I have a file with 4 includes made using the template tag library. One of the include has the dynamic content and the rest are just static html. I am trying to use the errorpage directive but when the content page generates a runtime error it resulting page actually tries and includes the errorPage rather than transferring control to the error page.. Any idea on how I should be using the errorPage directive Thanks & Regards Manish R. Unsurprisingly, also noticed same need to comment out the test servlet references in web.xml. Other thing was, 'borrowing' from Geeta's forwarded note from Vic the following address: localhost/myPim/portlets/cmsLst.html I had to adjust to localhost/portlets/cmsLst.htm. I assume 'myPim' was some arbitrary web app. Cheers, Jon -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Geeta Ramani Sent: Wednesday, February 26, 2003 6:24 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [MVC-Programmers] Struts Training - lab 0 Hi all: <I-just-work-here!> First, *please* don't flame me because I am writing regarding the Sruts Training course: I wrote to Vic (the owner of this list) off-list and he has assured me this is where I should be writing. </I-just-work-here!> So, fellow-trainees, I have completed Lab 0. The only thing I noticed was that I had to edit wb.xml in webCMS/WEB-INF: I had to comment out both references to the servlet "test". (I got a servlet exception otherwise.) Also when I browsed to http://localhost, I did indeed see the nice index.jsp. However clicking on the "Enter Here" link in that jsp gives a "503 javax.servlet.UnavailableException". Vic: are we supposed to fix these errors (uncomment the test servlet in web.xml and make the "enter here' link work)? Or will you be holding our hand..? ;) Regards, Geeta P.S. Vic, I have still not got your previous note to the list.. hope this one makes it! _______________________________________________ MVC-Programmers mailing list [email protected] http://www.basebeans.net:8080/mailman/listinfo/mvc-programmers _______________________________________________ MVC-Programmers mailing list [email protected] http://www.basebeans.net:8080/mailman/listinfo/mvc-programmers . ......................................................................
