Hello all :) Alco Blom, developer of the very useful apps. URL Manager Pro [1] and Web Confidential [2], both of which function in combination with web browsers, has found that the reason the connection between OW and these apps is no longer functioning in version 5.5 Sneaky Peek 7, is that OmniWeb has a creator code of "????" in its .plist. It's not identifying itself correctly to other applications. This _can_ affect its function with other applications that work in combination with browsers. It's not inevitable: I notice BrowseBack [3] is working fine with SneakyPeek 7. Alco has sent in a bug report to Omni Group. I should have worked this one out myself: I noticed that in my More Internet preference pane, I couldn't get a proper creator code for OmniWeb. I'd left the System Prefs displaying that confusion, hoping it would sort out in my mind. Alco got there way before my mind unfogged! from Clytie (vi-VN, Vietnamese free-software translation team / nhóm Việt hóa phần mềm tự do) http://groups-beta.google.com/group/vi-VN [1] http://www/url-manager.com/ [2] http://www.web-confidential.com/ [3] http://www.smileonmymac.com/browseback/index.html I got it from MacZOT: if you haven't seen it, there are excellent software offers there: http://www.maczot.com/
