Neither Safari nor this version of WebKit can handle AJAX in that setting. Up until ~4 months ago both Safari and OW worked fine on that forum. When they upgraded their site they used AJAX for some interactive functions and now neither Safari or OW will work. One can view the forum, but not post, edit, moderate.... FireFox, Netscape and even rheumy old IE 5.2 work fine. I have a problem on a couple other sites where AJAX was involved, but this is the only one that is important to me. Eventually either AJAX will go away, or it will become important enough that Safari and OW have to make it work or someone will develop a set of libraries for AJAX that make it work. I definitely prefer OW for most of what I do, so it saddens me that this pothole remains.
