I think that does indeed have something to do with it.

This has I think been changed with 5.5 and so now it goes:

/Library/Scripts/Applications/OmniWeb

That's the user's library.

Just call the folder "OmniWeb".

I suspect you can put it in the likewise folder in the library at  
root level if you want script available to all users, but I haven't  
tried it.

The scripts will appear in the script "menulette" at top right which  
you can turn on using AppleScript Utility.

With 5.1.3 OmniWeb had it's own script menu but I think that has been  
dumped now.

Actually I'm quite glad about it as Apple's "menulette" one works  
just fine.
