I just want to second this. Places where this is desirable. Paying
my wife and my mobile phone bill, I have multiple gmail accounts,
multiple yahoo identities, etc.

And for the record, Safari does substitute the password in that
matches the value entered into the username field.

I use my keychain so that I don't have to know the passwords for all
the various websites. And yes, I tend to generate new ones for each
website. It's a bit of an inconvenience to have to look them up when
I want to switch identities.

Further, even does anyone know how to change what identity is used by
default on a web page w/ OmniWeb. Again, returning to gmail, the
identity that fills the box is almost always the one i happen to use
LEAST, so I'm always having to pop open KeyChain Access to look up
the password to the right identity.
