We've had a wind storm in Seattle, which knocked out power for about  
150,000 people yesterday.  (See <http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/292566_weather16.html

The storm took out our T1 line as well:  we lost Omni's net connection  
yesterday evening from 7:45pm to a bit after midnight (PST, -0800).   
So our network connection was down when you wrote the message, but the  
list didn't post your message until our network came back up a few  
hours later.
