Well,
de gustibus non disputandum. I don't remember I've seen a setting for  
tabs like this. And this is something I definitely love in OmniWeb,  
one can collapse them or they can show the thumbnail, it is very  
obvious. Also, I think the eye views 180 degrees horizontally,  
vertically not as much, so it might be more about what one has been  
accustomed to.
