Open sourcing OmniWeb is something we've considered but not at this  
time. We do still intend to do OmniWeb 6 as well as general  
maintenance releases. As far as our development of OmniWeb goes, this  
has no affect, this price just better reflects the current state of  
things (like how all other browsers are free, and that we aren't  
giving it the amount of developer time we'd like to for a commercial  
release). We still use OmniWeb here though, it's the only browser I  
use. We don't want it to die any more than you do!
