Gues I have LDIF as an alternative because I imported from thnunderbird to Opera. I don't have other file save options the LDIF so I don't know what options you have. But looking at the thunderbird import dialog (Tools --> import --> Adressbook) it can import different filetypes. Try som of the export options your Opera instalation has, and see if thunderbird imports something usefull. This website seems to have a converter from operas .adr files to a file thunderbird can read: http://www.hallvord.com/opera/adr2tab.htm The guide on the website seems to be clear to me. But since it is a couple of years old I don't know if it still works with a newer version of opera. By the way what files does your version of opera export contacts to? 2009/1/17 Hugh Burns <[email protected]>: > Thank you for your reply. > I do not see an option for LDIF file type in the opened Opera window "Export > Opera Contacts." > Suggestions? > Thanks, > Raleigh > > > On Sat, 17 Jan 2009 09:44:37 -0500, Dan Stefan Rundberget > <[email protected]> wrote: > >> File --> Import and Export --> Export Opera Contacts.
