Re: AV programs & Opera

I would never use either Norton or McAfee.  In fact, the first thing I do  
with a new computer is to uninstall Norton.  There are online instructions  
for doing this, as it is common to want to do it.  I used AVG for years,  
but didn't like their upgrade about a year ago, and switched to  
Avira/AntiVir.  I've also heard of ESET, but have not tried it.  AVG was  
just fine until that major upgrade, and Avira is suiting us fine now.   
Both are award-winning programs, if that means something to you.  Avira is  
very highly and positively reviewed.  If I somehow became dissatisfied, I  
would try ESET.
