chat doesn't work after upgrade to v10

I upgraded opera to Opera 10, and suddenly my chat doesn't work anymore. OperaNet still lists a number of rooms that you can join, but Efnet, Europe doesn't find any rooms to join. Not when I try to join my normal chat channel, and when I ask it to list rooms it comes up with 0 rooms found. Does anybody know how I can fix this?
