Bookmark Question

In error I caused a new bookmark to be placed in my root directory of 
bookmarks. When I click on bookmarks it shows up among the various 
folders. However when I click on Manage Bookmarks it is not there. 
How can I get rid of it in the root directory of bookmarks?
