You will note that this an upgrade, not a new install. I used the default  
directories each time.

Opera 10 install tool made the choice to install the mail into a NEW path.  
They almost got it right. But as we who know computers, the difference  
between almost right and right sia l the difference needed to upset  
eveything.

This is odd [to me] I thought my filters were a set of rules I typed in so  
that Opera would know which messages foes into which folder. The list of  
rules is what I'm looking for. I have {had] a dim hope tht they would be  
in TEXT format, but how ever they exist, I want to transplant 'em.

Saddly this isn't my first attempt at installing version 10. I tried soon  
after it was made availible for downloading.

The problems at that time prevented me from giving v10 a good going over.  
They seemed to have fixed those problems (Congrats Opera coders!) But the  
filter file (if one exists) needs to be found and transplanted too.

Getting the mail sorted out would be a priority of course. Sorting by date  
might allow me to clean out dupes. I just *really* want my filters.

Wand information would be usefll too. Infact a good (re: better)  
installation script is needed soon.

Now, I run two versions of opera. I have told v10 to NOT get mail, instead  
I use it for Facebook. I use my older version for everything else. This is  
not my first choice, but it works [mostly]
