I must see what happens when I try it on my laptop with Vista. I have been accessing the New Scientist site on and off for years with nary a problem that I can recall. Nary? Hang on, where's my dictionary...? How odd, it's 19th-century non-standard. And there was me thinking it was Scottish, which would have been just as odd, considering that I'm only 1/8 or possibly even only 1/16 Scottish and have only been in the country once, in 1969 for ten days...
