Your post prompts two comments:

(1) I'm using 10.50 on Windows XP Home and I've only had a couple of  
problems (and those were my own fault), so I don't have any complaints  
about the new release. It's running fine for me, even using the mail  
client.

(2) The non-appearance of the menu bar in the default install is annoying,  
and I can't see any logical reason for that. It's easily fixed, though:
       (a) type opera:config into the address bar
       (b) type menu into the search box
       (c)  under User Prefs check the Show Menu box

I don't know if that's the way you fixed yours, but I thought I'd post the  
info here in case someone else is annoyed and can't figure out how to get  
the menu to appear.
