What is strange? I think you may be talking about something 
different from what I was talking about. The "tone" of the users 
has nothing to do with the server doing a poor job of actually 
sending out the messages in a timely fashion. Yahoo's server 
goes through periods where it just doesn't bother sending out 
messages in a timely, consistent manner. It irregularly misses 
sending some messages to some list members. Usually it 
eventually sends them, but sometimes days afterward. Personally, 
I'd prefer that we take up John's offer to set up a list.
