I just installed opera-10.60 on Linux (Redhat EWS 5.4) and it appears that Opera-link does not work at all. It says that it cannot communicate with the server. Plug-ins don't work. I tried installing some plugins in the local plugins directory, but opera refuses to see them. Opera crashes with seg-faults quite frequently, especially when I click on some topics in the Opera Community postings. The install script is now more restrictive. It forces you to install in $HOME/.local/... You cannot pick another location. I have tried everything for the last few days and it appears to me that this version of opera (on linux) is completely unusable, for me at least. I should say that opera-10.60 works fine on windows, just not on linux. It is a real shame. I have been dedicated to this browser for years, but now I don't know what to do. Has anyone else had problems with the linux version of 10.60? Thanks Freddy -- Unsubscribe: mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe
