There is a key combination for it (alt-f11, I think).  Alt-p to open
preferences, go to shortcuts, edit and enter "menu" (or even "disable
menu") in the search field to find (and change, if necessary) the
shortcut.  (alt-f11 is grabbed by my window manager, so I've changed
it to ctl-shift-f11).
