Web- site crashes opera 10B

Using the latest snapshots under Ubuntu 9.04 - the qt4 build. The Sydney Morning Herald web-site www.smh.com.au causes Opera to gradually use up all available RAM. Using top I see it goes from about 6% to 85% in under a minute locking up the system until opera is killed. This problem has only started in the last few days, so they have changed something but there is no visible change. Firefox handles the page fine.
