Hi! I've been an Opera fan since its version 3.6, but I'm getting frustrated more and more... I use it on a computer with installed fedora11 64bit with 4GB memory, and opera is giving me a hard time. It consumes more and more resident memory, until it gets to the point it's slowing the whole machine down so much, that I have to restart opera. It gets from initial XXX MB to about 1GB in a few hours of use. I have no widgets, remmebered addresses is set to minimum (1000) and without remembering content on visited pages, memory cache is set to 40MB. I don't have more than 10 opened tabs at any time. I also tried with a blank operaprefs.ini (removed it before start) to avoid any issues of configuration leftovers from previous installs. Nothing helps, opera just keeps consuming more and more memory. This problem started since 9.62 or 9.63 version. Is there anything I can do to prevent it from bogging down the entire machine? bye -- Opera-Linux: https://list.opera.com/mailman/listinfo/opera-linux More lists: https://list.opera.com/mailman/listinfo/ Unsubscribe: mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe
