Thanks for this tip, the page moving around during searches is quite 
annoying, particularly when trying to click on a link the search has 
just highlighted...

I go the other direction accidentally sometimes, bringing them back whan 
I don't want them.  There should be an item when you hit Alt or click 
Menu, called "Show Menu Bar" with a default hotkey of Alt-F11.  If not, 
it should be in opera:config as "Show Menu"

I had this on KDE 3.5.10; search opera:config for "Dialog Toolkit" and 
experiment with small numbers.  "2" got me File Open and File Save 
dialogs I can work with.
