Hello,

I have a similar problem to yours, but in my case when using qt/kde
dialog, it takes nearly one minute to open the file selector the first
time (in a dir with only 100 files) ; during that time opera is
completly locked.

Just in case, have you tried waiting a moment to see if it works ?

I'm using qt 4.7.1 and kde 4.6 beta ; gtk fileselector is working fine
though when forcing it in preferences.
