It works! Thanks. I was a bit sceptical in the beginning, since you
know how distros vary, and I couldn't make much of the script, anyway.
But it just worked.

Yes, to be precise I was talking about gecko-mediaplayer,
gnome-mplayer's browser plug-in; it's a bit buggy, but it works, and I
prefer it to the flash players. Couple of times Parole's browser
plug-in,  a gstreamer solution, worked just fine, too.
