"you seem to be on a slow network" message in opera 11.50 linux

Hello: Opera 11.50 linux version repeatedly pops up a message starting with "you seem to be on a slow network". This occurs on a computer with 20 Mbps. (The actual download speed at the moment is 21.77 Mbps according to the test at http://www.datatrans.hu/internet/speedtest.) I know I can turn the message off somehow, but it really should not be popped up at this speed, I guess. Is it a bug?
