Unfortunately, it isn't quite that simple. Ensuring that the work (and other resources) belonging to a single tab is counted against its process/thread is unlikely to be optimal. We could certainly make some attempt at keeping statistics on resource (cpu time, memory) usage per-tab, but it isn't trivial and I think it would be hard to get such work prioritized.
