Yes indeed, and it's what I do. Actually I just asked the question for
curiosity, because I wondered if there was a key or menu entry allowing
to do this from inside opera (Alt-F4 use the close mechanism of the
window manager I guess). As opera has keys to close tabs and the whole
application, I was a little surprised not to find anything to close the
current window. However it does not bother me a lot (even if I would
have prefered that ctrl-w works in this case too).
