You weren't running with -nohwaccel?  That probably kills WebGL support
as well (as it is intended to force opera to not use hwa at all).

Or maybe you should set webgl to enabled (2), just in case there is
something that blocks it (though I wouldn't expect that).

Kind of.  For testing, I usually use whatever opera I'm currently
working on.  It is safe to assume that there are patches on mine that
aren't in any released version.  (Currently the opposite is most likely
true too.  Some of the changes that are in 1380 are probably not in my
version.)
