I wouldn't think so.  As long as opera can find both the pluginwrapper
and the plug-in, that should be sufficient.  It used to be that you
could execute the pluginwrapper "by hand" to see whether it can
successfully load a plug-in.  I think:

./operapluginwrapper-ia32-linux detect -fd 1 /path/to/plugin.so

If the pluginwrapper manages to load the plug-in, it will print out some
of the plug-in data to stdout.

Not entirely surprising, given how plug-ins work.  I know we've fixed
similar bugs sometimes in the past.

There's been substantial rewriting happening for the plug-in support in
opera 12, so it may be fixed now.  If it still happens with 12, I'd like
to know about it so I can update the bug report.
