Yes, I filed a bug report - however since there is no possibility to track 
a bugreport's history or getting any feedback, I can't tell if anything 
will be done about this...

By the way, I discovered that this bug doesn't hit Opera for Windows - but 
maybe it's because I'm running it on VMWare Player running Windows? On the 
other hand, whole vmware player with opera 12.02 displaying this 
page occupies about 7% of processor while opera for linux consumes >50% at 
the same time.
