disable pop-up

Love the new version.  well worth the wait.

My only problem is an annoying pop up window. Not sure if it is SEC related ord OsCommerce in general. happens to me on both SECv2.2 and SECv1_0b3. when I first access the site, a pop up appears advertising pop-up blocker software or windows messenger killer software. I've only noticed it when accessing catalog/index.php. Only does it every once in while. always when i first access the site, and then randomly after that. Anyone else getting this? Any way to disable it or at least change the pop-up ads to better suit my site? 

Any help is appreciated.
