This message was sent from: Development http://forums.oscommerce.com/viewtopic.php?p=152719#152719 ---------------------------------------------------------------- I've been playing with phpNuke and PostNuke and so far I have to say that I am much more impressed with PostNuke, for several reasons.... - PostNuke appears to be a much more active and collaborative development community - administration of PostNuke appears to be more straightforward - from what I saw at first glance, the administration of modules and drop-insert boxes appeared to be much easier. The benefit for phpNuke is its longevity and the amount of stuff that has already been written for it. But from what I see, the developers that have jumped on board with PostNuke will surpass phpNuke very quickly. I'm going to concentrate my efforts on what I believe will be a soon forthcoming community contribution that has PostNuke, phpBB2 and osC MS1 combined. It appears that a few people have been working with this port and trying to clean it up so I expect it won't be too long before we can download it and get it ready for primetime: http://forums.oscommerce.com/viewtopic.php?t=40330 JG
