This message was sent from: Development http://forums.oscommerce.com/viewtopic.php?p=171567#171567 ---------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I would like to do some changes to osCommerce and I also will try to build a new contribution for the project. I have a fair knowledge on CVS (I can use WinCVS to manage my own projects or to checkout the osCommerce repository). Now I wonder what will be the best method to get started with the latest CVS version and developing add-ons. I can checkout the current version and do my changes here. So I will be able to check my changes to the latest updated version and will also see any conflicts. The other method I could use: I could import a snapshot into my own cvsroot and do my own version on a separate branch. But with this version I'm afraid it will be too much pain to update it to another dayly snapshot? What would you advise that I should do? Marian
