If you have win2K or windows XP pro, IIS would have come with your system and be an option to install under the Add programs -> Windows Compents... I use IIS for my local development server and it runs OSC ok. Though I had been using IIS as when I started OSC I was also coding some ASP, but now I'm doing only OSC, so I guess I could switch to Apache, but since I've already got my IIS setup for PHP & mySQL, why bother. Though it took forever to get working right with PHP.
